7:10 you are incorrect. The video you are talking about is from their 1966 live performance on the Ed Sullivan Show where Mick is singing live and Keith is playing a 6 string guitar and they are backed by The Ed Sullivan Ray Bloch orchestra. I'll post you that link. The video you saw unfortunately was a video where someone had taken the live performance out including the screaming girls and overdubbed their studio track where Keith played a 12 string. It's unfortunate you saw that video and not the real live performance. I'll post a link to that where Keith is playing a 6 string in my comments

great demonstration. I just started trying to learn fingerpicking this week, practicing 30 minutes a day or so and I've been surprised at the progress a few easy exercises gave me. I'm going to try adding this pattern to my practice. I like the idea of incorporating the pinky for some stuff!
